In the framework of the ASD-EAST project, over 100 professionals, both specialist educators in special educational settings, and specialist educators supporting learners within mainstream and inclusive settings, have been training on special in two different pilot sessions in October and November 2019 in Cracow, Poland.

From the 26th to the 27th October, partners Tamara Cierpiałowska, Anna Bombińska-Domżał, and Sylwia Niemiec delivered the ASD-EAST training at the Pedagogical University of Cracow to 60 special education teachers. The next training sessions was delivered at the Primary School no 33 in Krakow on November 14th and 15th by Izabella Oliwia Galon and Beata Padej from the Primary School with Integration Departments No. 12 Janusz Korczak.

In parallel to these sessions, other pilot trainings have been running both in Kisela Voda (North Macedonia), and in Zagreb (Croatia) throughout October and November 2019. In total, more than 300 professionals from all across those countries had already benefit of the ASD-EAST training for teachers, evaluated its quality, and provided their feedback in order to get an improved final version of the training at the end of the project in 2020.
